I've officially applied for my Passport! I'm going with a team from our church to Guatemala this summer through PrayAmerica to build houses for widows and love on some kids!!!

Pray for the funding to come in and that the Lord would do amazing things in and through us this summer.

(This is our 4th year sending teams here. We're sending 3 teams throughout the summer.)

So, Amy and I recorded this song over the weekend (playing at the bottom of the page.) It's an attempt to write a Christmas / worship song. It's mixed straight from Amy's kitchen...I pray that you might be blessed and encouraged by the gospel portrayed in this song...

I'm anticipating the summer! It's always nice to have a break from the normalcy of life.

I'm excited to visit Ohio this summer and see some old friends. I'm really excited about playing guitar and leading some worship with my friend Ted at his church, Soma Community. It's going to be a good time!

I'm also looking forward to finally getting into the studio and working with our worship team on a Worship EP. The Lord seems to be working in a lot of cool ways as we write songs that we hope will magnify and glorify him!

A lot has happened this summer. The biggest and saddest being the death of my father. He passed away on July 18th, with all of his family standing around singing hymns.

This is a video of the funeral, and music to a song I wrote through this entire process. ...The song was a long time coming, which started in college, through what God was teaching me, and came to a close over the past year, while my father battled cancer.

I pray that the Lord would continue to give me the grace to see past my situation and see that his sovereign hand is glorifying himself and doing what is best!
